Practical Skills for Future Ophthalmologists 2012
The aim of the event is to provide attendees with an insight into the specialist skills used in ophthalmology and an opportunity to practice these skills with expert help. Teaching will be delivered via workshops and lectures.
The events is open to students, junior doctors and other with an interest in ophthalmology.

13.00 – 13.45 | Slit lamp 2 – patients with common problems |
13.45 – 14.30 | Understanding the visual pathway and visual field abnormalities |
14.30 – 15.15 | Eyelid lacerations and suturing practical |
15.15 – 16.00 | Ocular irrigation, foreign body and rust ring removal |
16.00 – 16.30 | Completion of evaluation forms and close |
